The Maharaja of Mysore ( ? ) Photographed wearing a military hat and various military medals as well as two large pearl necklaces and heavily jeweled jacket.The photographic image is enhanced by gouach painting. This process while not unique to India, was very popular there and has evolved as a popular Indian art form. Mounted and glazed.
