Amber Ear Plugs

The women of the Hkahku Tribes in the Kachin state in Burma used to wear amber ear plugs as personal adornment. They would be worn through a stretched ear lobe with the pointed end facing forward. Made from local Burmese amber, they have a distinct dark, rich color.
