Beaded Fan
This beaded fan is from Gujurat, India. While some handicrafts in Gujurat were done by men to make a living, beadwork was traditionally done by women as a hobby. This fan is created by hand by painstakingly sewing together rows of beads to create a polychromatic geometric pattern. A mirror was added into the middle for either decoration, or for the user of the fan to look at themselves.
