Wool on Leather Embroidery

The Kungrat embroidery resembles Lakhai work but the Kungrat is a farming tribe of eastern origin vs the Lakhai which hail from Afghanistan and are originally nomads. Royal blue and red eight pointed star radiating four large polychrome palmettes inset with hooked spider devices, the palmettes flanked by four blue green hooked vines with palmettes and crescent moon shaped blossoms, rosette and four leaf spray border.
