Tibetan Calligraphic Panel

Fragment of Buddhist mantra from the Yuan dynasty or early Ming dynasty.

The calligraphy is executed in a paper based brocading technique called kinran. This technique was invented in China but later on used mainly in Japan.

Condition: Fragmentary, good but delicate antique condition
