Tahaikt Wrap
This tahaikt wrap was made in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco in the early 20th century out of wool.
The tahaikt is a wrap worn by Berber (Amazigh) women. It is worn draped, anchored with clasps and belts. It is a long woolen rectangle adorned mainly at the corners in double facing designs, embroidered and woven into the white ground.
