Shot Silk Chappan
Festive robe for a male dignitary, to be used on occasions such as weddings, funerals and religious holidays. A coat of ample proportions with tapering sleeves, made of shot silk in a stripey scheme of yellow, green and purple. Lined with purple silk and edged with embroidered silk ribbon.
