Shepherd’s Coat

This wool coat is thick enough to keep shepherds warm in the cold winters in the mountains of eastern Turkey. It is made of thick wool and its geometric design around the neck opening is executed in a tapestry weave technique reminiscent of flat woven kills. Further details are made with embroidery.
