Ritual Towel

Large linen towel used for ritual occasions. The center is loosely woven to produced absorbent terrycloth while each end is embroidered with three rondels formed by garlands of blue flowers containing a field of orange pink flowers., all done with polychrome silk and metallic thread in a variety of stitching techniques.The exemplary handwork results in double faced towel of subtle beauty.
