Palestinian Dress

Bedouin woman s dress. A full length garment with flared skirt and long sleeves. The black cotton ground is heavily embroidered at the back and sides of the skirt, the sleeves and the front neck area. The embroidery is done with silk in cross stitch. The motifs are varied, mostly rows of flowers, leaves and some geometricals.
