Ottoman Embroidery

Turkish embroidery in a shape of a runner that is composed of two panels containing three band of embroidery separated by lace like pulled work. The decoration is in linear form with small cubes containing flowers in a concentric design. The embroidery is done with polychrome coiled silk in a counted cross stitch technique. Velvet and metallic thread ribbon borders.
