Liquid silver or “liquid heishi” gets its name from the fluid-like feeling of the piece. It is created with small, tubular silver beads, strung together with silver, and connected with silver and a hook. Liquid silver jewelry is created by Native American artisans and typically have 10, 20, 30, 50, or 100 strands. It can be necklaces such as this piece, or made into bracelets and earrings as well.
