Embroidered Vest

Nonofficial informal sleeveless coat of a Chinese woman.A waist length garment with front over flap closing to the right. It is fastened with five corded loops and toggle buttons and has a stand up collar and side vents.It is decorated in a scatter scheme of flowers and auspicious symbols with a center flowering vase. All embroidered in satin stitch and French knot.
