		A woman’s shawl . White cotton adorned with a center row of five skewered circles and floral borders.Silk embroidery on cotton ground with the work done in chain stitch, radiating stitch and buttonhole stitch.The use of mica, the vegetable dyes and the quality of the cotton weave  all indicate its date as 19th cenutry.
