Embroidered Sash

Linen sash embroidered with silk in double darning and double running in a line stitch and with metallic thread and metallic ribbon in satin stitch. The embroidery is double sided and very fine.The design is of sprigs of polychrome flowers and gold leaves in two rows with three sprigs per row and two smaller sprigs in between. The embroidery is typically double sided and of very high quality professional workmanship.
