Brocade Chapan

The chapan is a traditional robe of ample proportions that is worn by both men and women on ritual occasions such as weddings, funerals and religious holidays.

The loosely woven brocade used for this chapan was locally manufactured and the design features meandering and blooming vines that enclose further blooms of different flowers, all against  blue silk ground. Knitted ribbon edging and baby blue cotton lining.
