Blue Gauze Sari
Sari of blue silk gauze with continuous (borders) and discontinuous (field ) supplementary weft of silver and gold thread. The design features fruit medallions in the ground and alternating pairs of fruits and leaves in the wide borders. Brocades of such high craftsmanship are produced in the holy city of Varanasi (Benares)
