Berber Woman’s Wrapper (Haik)
Berber woman’s wrapper.The long blanket gets worn in a very particular way and decorated to feature the outward facing corners only.The design applied with multiple techniques:Tweel white on white wool stripes, with yellow and brown silk weft at edges. Henna paint applied lengthwise as well as medallions of supplementary wool weft with tufted endings at corners and along edges.Ida Ou Nadif berbers, Anti Atlas mountains.
