Belt or Sword Decoration

The ceremonial regalia of the Timorese warriors is very elaborate and includes many components. The sword covers, or belts, are usually predominantly red which is the color associated with bravery in Southeast Asia. Plain cotton weave with supplementary weft wrapping and weaving.Atoni or Dawan people.
