Spectacles Pouch

Chinese Silk embroidered spectacle case. Probably part of a set of 5 things given to nobles, which would include a fan case, a valuables wallet, a spectacle case and 2 small tasseled purses. Embroidered with silk and metallic threads it shows a peacock in a stylized tree surrounded by floral motifs. Similar in design to that of the peacock Imperial rank badges.
