Black/Gold Wax Print Yardage

The process to make the wax print is originally influenced by batik an Indonesian method of dyeing cloth by using wax-resist techniques.

African wax prints are known as (Ankara) and Dutch wax prints. They are important materials for clothing in Africa. They are industrially produced, colorful cotton cloths with batik inspired clothing. The great feature of these materials is the lack of difference in the color intensity of the front and back sides.
