Zoroastrian Pants Cuff Fragment

The zoroastrians are sun worshipers of Persian origin and now settled anywhere from Iran to western India where they are called Farsees.Uncharacteristically, in Iran their women were allowed to adhere to their way of dress.Forming part of their costume are pants with elaborate cuffs, composed of colorful strips of silk or cotton, each embroidered with small animals, fish and sometimes geometrics such as in this fragment.
